Tinubu, Shettima to Lead APC Heavyweights at PGF Renewed Hope Summit
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to serve as Special Guest of Honour at the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) Renewed Hope Ambassadors Summit 2026 on Tuesday, February 24. The event, themed “Taking Renewed Hope to the Grassroots,” will hold at the State House Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Organised by the PGF and strictly by invitation, the summit will also feature Vice President Kashim Shettima as Special Guest, while APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda will attend as Guest of Honour.
The gathering aims to galvanise party structures and deepen engagement with grassroots communities around the Tinubu administration’s Renewed Hope agenda.
A wide array of party stalwarts and government officials are expected, including members of the APC National Working Committee, leadership of the National Assembly, former governors, members of the Federal Executive Council, state House of Assembly speakers, APC state executives, and zonal and state coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors structure.
Delegations from state governments, including Secretaries to State Governments and Commissioners for Information, Youth Development, and Women Affairs, are also slated to attend. Representatives from the private sector, civil society organisations, and development partners are expected to round out the audience.
Observers say the summit reflects the APC’s commitment to strengthening party cohesion and promoting the Tinubu administration’s vision across all levels of governance.
